CONDITIONS D’EXPOSITION au SALON
Art. 1 : Le Salon : Il a lieu au BASTILLE DESIGN CENTER – Paris 11e, généralement la deuxième semaine d’octobre (les dates seront précisées plus tard en fonction du calendrier). Sont invités à participer à cette exposition les artistes qui auront été sélectionnés et à jour de leur cotisation de l’année en cours. Ceux-ci doivent s’acquitter de leur participation et renvoyer le bulletin d’inscription dans les délais impartis.
Art. 2 : Montant de la participation : Par an, la participation au salon est de 240 euros. Ce montant comprend l’adhésion annuelle à l’association de 60 euros et 180 euros comprenant les droits d’accrochage et tous les éléments de communication tels que flyers, affiches, catalogue et /ou brochure, site internet etc… Ainsi que les diverses actions de communication mises en route par l’association et qui vous seront précisées ultérieurement. À noter que le paiement peut être fractionné en plusieurs versements (chèques de 60 euros minimum) qui seront déposés en banque à intervalle d’un mois (ne pas antidater les chèques). En cas de vente lors du salon, les artistes vendeurs sont tenus, selon notre règlement intérieur, de reverser, sous forme de don à l’association, une somme, non négociable, équivalente à 15% du montant de la vente (pensez à majorer le prix de vos œuvres en conséquence).
Pour les petits formats un pourcentage de 5% sera demandé.
Art. 3 : Délais d’inscription : Les participants doivent faire parvenir à Figuration Critique leurs bulletins d’adhésion et d’inscription assortis de leur règlement (en ligne ou par voie postale) impérativement avant le 15 mai de l’année en cours.
ATTENTION :
Après la date de clôture de réception des chèques (15 mai), vous recevrez par mail un formulaire informatique à remplir. Il validera votre participation définitive au salon 2022. Ce formulaire est important, il conviendra de le remplir très précisément car il génèrera la fiche de l’artiste concerné sur notre site F.C. et sur notre catalogue. Pensez à regarder vos spams !
Art. 4 : Les œuvres :
a) Peintres, graveurs et photographes : Chaque artiste disposera d’un espace d’accrochage.
Les dimensions maximales d’accrochage par artiste peintre sont, pour une œuvre de grand format, de 250 cm de Hauteur maximump par 240 cm de Largeur (au-delà de 2,50 de hauteur, proposez un projet au comité) . Dans le cas de deux œuvres présentées, les largeurs cumulées (comprenant l’espace entre les deux) ne devront pas excéder 240 cm. Par contre il est possible pour les photographes,les graveurs et les peintres numériques de proposer plusieurs œuvres de petite taille, le comité se réservant le droit d’accrocher ceux-ci de manière groupée et donc pas forcément sur une telle largeur. Précisons aussi qu’il est possible de proposer conjointement un tableau et une sculpture et rappelons aux sculpteurs qu’ils peuvent proposer quatre pièces accompagnées de leurs socles. Pour des raisons de fluidité de l’accrochage les sculptures pourront être dissociées des œuvres picturales. Par ailleurs les artistes pourront présenter aussi un petit portfolio avec des travaux sur papier, celui-ci ne devra impérativement pas excéder le format A3, tout format supérieur sera refusé en raison de la place et de l’équité entre les artistes.
Les œuvres devront être munies d’un système d’accrochage opérationnel (soit déjà fixé à l’œuvre, soit joint dans le colis emballé). Il est demandé d’éviter les encadrements lourds et ostentatoires, de préférer les toiles nues ou protégées par des baguettes simples ou des cache-clous. Pour les graveurs et photographes, les sous-verres ne sont pas recommandés (F.C. ne sera pas tenu responsable des bris de verre), préférez les protections incassables.
b) les petits formats de 30 x 30 cm
En plus des œuvres présentées, nous vous proposons de réaliser des petits formats de 30 x 30 cm qui seront tous regroupés dans la salle où se tient d’habitude le vernissage (RdC à droite).
Un prix unique et attractif de 260 euros sera proposé au public pour chaque œuvre afin de couvrir, en cas de vente, les frais engagés par les artistes et de leur donner la possibilité de se rembourser, FC prenant un pourcentage de 5% sur les ventes (ce qui fait 13 euros) et d’inciter les visiteurs à “commencer une collection” avec un prix attractif (la communication sera faite dans ce sens).
Pour les sculpteurs, libre arbitre est laissé à chacun de voir la dimension qu’il met dans le prix de 260 euros.
Les acheteurs pourront repartir avec tout de suite après les avoir achetés, contrairement aux autres œuvres exposées au salon qui devront attendre la fin du salon pour être décrochées et livrées. Chaque artiste pourra apporter plusieurs petits formats (maxi 5 et, pour des raisons de stockage et d’organisation, merci d’y indiquer au dos votre nom).
Attention, La dimension des petits formats doit impérativement être de 30cm x 30cm (si encadrés, la tolérance est d’environ 32,5 x 32,5cm, cadre compris) et ne pas comporter de système d’accrochage autre que les languettes adhésives Tableaux déco “COMMAND” de chez 3M.
Merci de scrupuleusement respecter ces consignes,(toute taille inférieure ou supérieure sera refusée).
Figuration Critique doit faire face à des frais de fonctionnement en très forte hausse (location du BDC, augmentation des prix du papier…), toutefois le comité ne voulant pas augmenter les frais d’inscription, il a été décidé que 5% seraient reversés à l’association en cas de ventes des petits formats. Les participants doivent comprendre qu’il s’agit là d’un apport au bénéfice de tous. Nous comptons sur vous !
c) Sculpteurs : Chaque sculpteur pourra exposer 4 pièces au maximum. Les formats ne sont pas limités mais pour les pièces d’un poids supérieur à 20 kg (emballage compris) c’est l’artiste lui-même qui doit se charger du transport et de la manutention jusqu’à l’endroit d’exposition. Les sculpteurs devront impérativement apporter leurs socles, le Bastille Design Center n’en possédant qu’un petit nombre. d) Books : les artistes peuvent mettre leur book ou des monographies à disposition des visiteurs, ceux-ci seront en consultation sur place. Ils devront les récupérer à la fin de l’exposition.
e) Livres d’artiste et ouvrages : Les exposants désirant vendre des ouvrages sur leur travail pourront déposer au bureau de vente un exemplaire de démonstration étiqueté comme tel, en précisant le prix de l’ouvrage ainsi que le nom et numéro de téléphone de l’artiste. Chaque artiste est responsable de son stock et prendra en charge la vente en direct, sur laquelle l’association ne réclamera aucune participation. Cette possibilité reste soumise à la condition que l’artiste s’engage à apporter son stock (books comme livres d’artiste) journalier sans possibilité de dépôt au B.D.C. ; Figuration Critique n’ayant pas vocation à vendre les monographies ou books d’artistes et ne pouvant être tenue responsable de tout vol ou litige éventuel.
Art. 5 : Dépôt et retrait des oeuvres : Le dépôt des œuvres (via transporteur inclus) devra s’effectuer le lundi de la semaine en cours de 12h00 à 17h00. Au Bastille Design Center – 74, boulevard Richard Lenoir – 75011 Paris. Chaque œuvre déposée devra être notifiée sur la feuille de dépôt par la signature de l’artiste (ou ayant droit).
Seuls le commissaire d’exposition et les membres du comité seront habilités à participer à l’accrochage. Exception faite pour les sculpteurs présentant des pièces exigeant une manutention particulière, aucun exposant ne sera autorisé à rester présent. Les artistes s’engagent à ne pas contester l’emplacement qui leur sera attribué ; Figuration Critique assurant la gestion et la cohérence de la scénographie globale. Sauf circonstance exceptionnelle, toute œuvre arrivant hors délai pourra potentiellement être refusée, l’association ne remboursant pas les frais d’accrochage.
Le retrait des œuvres se déroulera le dimanche à partir de 17h00 et en aucun cas avant, un signal sera donné par le comité à 17h00 ou après en fonction de l’affluence du public. Chaque œuvre retirée devra être notifiée sur le formulaire de retrait par la signature de l’artiste (ou ayant droit). Les œuvres devant être envoyées par transporteur pourront être enlevée dès le lundi de 10h00 à 18h00. Le B.D.C. ne pouvant assurer de stockage, toute demande de délai sera soumise auparavant à l’approbation de la gérante de l’établissement.
Art. 6 : Vernissage : Le vernissage de l’exposition aura lieu en principe le mercredi (jour d’ouverture du salon) à partir de 18h00.
Art. 7 : Assurance de l’exposition : Figuration Critique ne contracte qu’une assurance de responsabilité civile relative aux lieux d’exposition ; il revient à chaque artiste – s’il le souhaite – d’assurer lui même ses œuvres tant pour le temps de l’exposition que durant leur transport.
Art. 8 : Permanences et Gardiennage : Comme chaque année, un appel à participation est fait auprès des artistes exposants pour assurer quelques demi-journées de présence sur les lieux de l’exposition. Ces permanences sont indispensables et une grille de répartition permettra de coordonner les présences des artistes, elle vous sera communiquée ultérieurement. Nous insistons particulièrement sur l’implication de chacun.
Art. 9 : Fiche des œuvres exposées et prix : Afin de laisser la possibilité aux artistes de présenter lors de l’exposition d’octobre leurs derniers travaux, les fiches de prix des œuvres exposées, à remplir et à retourner en deux exemplaires avant fin juillet, vous seront envoyées début juillet. Ces fiches nous aidant à préparer le catalogue des prix et les cartels présentant les œuvres, il est important de les remplir entièrement et lisiblement. Toute erreur ou malentendu risquant de nous faire produire des documents erronés pouvant nuire au sérieux de l’ensemble des membres de l’association.
Dans le but de pouvoir préparer en amont le plan d’accrochage de l’exposition, ces fiches devront être obligatoirement accompagnées de la ou des photos des œuvres devant être exposées en octobre (nous vous aviserons d’un envoi des photos par lettre ou par mail).
La photo de l’œuvre figurant sur le site et le catalogue ne sera donc pas forcément la même que celle exposée en octobre mais conforme à la qualité de l’œuvre pour lesquelles vous avez été selectionné(e). Le comité se réservant le droit de demander à l’artiste de présenter une autre œuvre si celle proposée pour le salon ne correspondait pas au travail pour lequel il a été sélectionné.
Art. 10 : Dead Line
L’organisation et toute la communication devant être bouclées mi juillet, il est donc capital de respecter les délais, merci d’en tenir compte.
Pour être sélectionné, adhérer à notre association et participer à notre Salon qui se tient, en général, la deuxième semaine d’octobre, Faites-nous parvenir un dossier présentant :
10 photos papier (un catalogue ou une monographie) de bonne qualité ou un CD montrant vos œuvres récentes, avec indication de technique et de format.
Une courte note biographique.
Un court texte expliquant votre démarche artistique.
Une enveloppe affranchie pour le retour des documents.
Un chèque de 15 euros pour frais de gestion de dossier à l’ordre de Figuration Critique (non remboursé en cas de non adhésion).

Si vous êtes sélectionné(e), vous recevrez une réponse aux environs de la fin avril. Les frais d’accrochage se montent à 180 euros auxquels s’ajoutent les frais de votre adhésion annuelle de 60 euros. Figuration Critique étant un Salon autofinancé, les coûts d’expositions sont à la charge des adhérents, mutualisés et répartis entre eux.

Art. 3: Registration deadlines: Participants must send Figuration Critique their membership and registration forms together with their payment (online or by post) imperatively before May 15 of the current year. ATTENTION : After the closing date for receipt of checks (May 15), you will receive an electronic form to be completed by email. It will validate your definitive participation in the 2022 show. This form is important, it will be necessary to fill it in very precisely because it will generate the file of the artist concerned on our F.C. site and on our catalog. Remember to watch your spam! Art. 4: The works: a) Painters, engravers and photographers: Each artist will have a hanging space. The maximum hanging dimensions per painter are, for a large format work, 250 cm in height by 240 cm in width. In the case of two works presented, the cumulative widths (including the space between the two) must not exceed 240 cm. On the other hand, it is also possible for photographers and digital painters to offer several small-sized works,
, the committee reserving the right to hang these in a group and therefore not necessarily over such a width. It should also be noted that it is possible to jointly propose a painting and a sculpture and remind the sculptors that they can propose four pieces accompanied by their bases. For reasons of fluidity of the hanging, the sculptures may be dissociated from the pictorial works. In addition, artists may also present a small portfolio with works on paper, which must imperatively not exceed A3 format, any larger format will be refused due to space and fairness between the artists. The works must be provided with an operational hanging system (either already attached to the work, or included in the packaged package). It is requested to avoid heavy and ostentatious frames, to prefer bare canvases or those protected by simple strips or nail covers. For engravers and photographers, coasters are not recommended (F.C. will not be held responsible for glass breakage), prefer unbreakable protections.
b) small formats of 30 x 30 cm In addition to the works presented, we suggest that you create small formats of 30 x 30 cm which will all be grouped together in the room where the opening is usually held (ground floor on the right). A unique and attractive price of 260 euros will be offered to the public for each work in order to cover, in the event of a sale, the costs incurred by the artists and to give them the possibility of reimbursement, FC taking a percentage of 5% on the sales. For the sculptors, free will is left to everyone to see the dimension he puts in the price of 260 euros. Buyers will be able to leave with them immediately after purchasing them, unlike the other works exhibited at the show, which will have to wait until the end of the show to be picked up and delivered. Each artist can bring several small formats (maximum 5 and, for storage and organization reasons, please indicate your name on the back). Attention, The size of the small formats must imperatively be 30cm x 30cm (with or without frame) and not include any hanging system other than 3M “COMMAND” Decorative Boards adhesive strips.
Thank you for scrupulously respecting these instructions, (any smaller or larger size will be refused).
Figuration Critique has to deal with very sharply rising operating costs (rental of the BDC, increase in the price of paper, etc.), however the committee, not wanting to increase the registration fees, has decided that 5% will be donated to the association in the event of sales of small formats. Participants must understand that this is a contribution for the benefit of all. We are counting on you ! c) Sculptors: Each sculptor may exhibit a maximum of 4 pieces. The formats are not limited but for pieces weighing more than 20 kg (including packaging) it is the artist himself who must take care of the transport and handling to the place of exhibition. . Art. 5: Deposit and collection of works: The deposit of works (via carrier included) must be made on Monday of the current week from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. At the Bastille Design Center - 74, boulevard Richard Lenoir - 75011 Paris. Each work deposited must be notified on the deposit sheet by the signature of the artist (or beneficiary).
Only the curator and the members of the committee will be authorized to participate in the hanging. With the exception of sculptors presenting pieces requiring special handling, no exhibitor will be authorized to remain present. Artists undertake not to contest the location assigned to them; Critical Figuration ensuring the management and consistency of the overall scenography. Except in exceptional circumstances, any work arriving after the deadline may potentially be refused, the association not reimbursing the hanging costs.
The removal of the works will take place on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. and in no case before, a signal will be given by the committee at 5:00 p.m. or later depending on the number of visitors. Each work withdrawn must be notified on the withdrawal form by the signature of the artist (or beneficiary). Works to be sent by courier can be collected from Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The B.D.C. unable to ensure storage, any request for a delay will be subject to the approval of the manager of the establishment.
Art. 6: Opening: The opening of the exhibition will take place in principle on Wednesday 2022 from 6:00 p.m.
Art. 7: Insurance of the exhibition: Figuration Critique only takes out civil liability insurance relating to the exhibition venues; it is up to each artist - if he wishes - to insure his works himself both for the time of the exhibition and during their transport.
Art. 8: presence and Guarding: As every year, a call for participation is made to the exhibiting artists to ensure a few half-days of presence on the premises of the exhibition. These sessions are essential
. These presences are essential and a distribution grid will make it possible to coordinate the presence of the artists, it will be communicated to you later. We particularly insist on everyone's involvement.
Art. 9: Sheet of exhibited works and prices: In order to give artists the opportunity to present their latest works during the October exhibition, the price sheets of the exhibited works, to be completed and returned in duplicate before the end of August, will be sent to you at the end of July. These sheets help us to prepare the price catalog and the labels presenting the works, it is important to fill them in completely and legibly. Any error or misunderstanding that could cause us to produce erroneous documents that could harm the seriousness of all members of the association.
In order to be able to prepare the exhibition hanging plan in advance, these sheets must be accompanied by the photo(s) of the works to be exhibited in October (we will advise you that the photos will be sent by letter or by email).
The photo of the work appearing on the site and the catalog will therefore not necessarily be the same as that exhibited in October but in accordance with the quality of the work for which you have been selected. The committee reserves the right to ask the artist to present another work if the one proposed for the show does not correspond to the work for which he was selected.
Art. 10: Deadline
The organization and all the communication must be completed in mid-July, so it is essential to respect the deadlines, please take this into account.
In order to submit your artwork to the Exhibition, you have to become a member of our association. The event will take place on the second or third week of October (the specific date will be confirmed).

10 high quality photo prints (catalogue or monography) or a CD showing your recent production, indicating technique and format.
Short biographical data.
A short statement explaining your artistic approach.
A pre-stamped envelope to return the documents.
A 15 € cheque payable to Figuration Critique, to meet administrative expenses (not refunded).

Hanging fees are 180€, to which you must add the annual subscription fee to the association (60€). Figuration Critique being a self-funded event, the exhibition costs are the member’s responsibility and will be mutualised and apportioned among them.
