Laetitia Lesaffre est artiste peintre laqueur et photographe, l’ensemble de sa démarche artistique porte sur le reflet. Elle photographie ses sujets en reflet dans ses tableaux laqués. Son travail photographique prend au fil du temps une dimension sociologique. Sa série de portraits ‘DE-SOL-ES, enfance exilée’ comme son nouveau projet ‘Kintsugi, reflets de femmes’ ancrent son travail dans la réalité contemporaine. Elle participe à de nombreuses expositions en France et à l’étranger : elle expose notamment à Milan (MIA), Bruxelles (galerie Vanhove), Cologne (List), Paris (Fotofever, Galerie Hegoa), Lille (galerie Melting Art), New York (Sturgis Art Gallery). Ses oeuvres font partie de collections privées et publiques. Insatiable chercheuse, elle poursuit sa démarche d’expérimentation en pratiquant la laque traditionnelle, l’art du Kintsugi, les tirages à l’ancienne et au travers des reflets, dissout la frontière qui sépare la peinture de la photographie.

Laetitia Lesaffre is a painter and a photographer, Her entire artistic approach focuses on the reflection. She photographs her subjects in reflection in her lacquered paintings. Her photographic work takes over time a sociological dimension.
