Née en 1960, diplômée de l’ENSAAMA et de l'ENSBA Paris. La série APPARITIONS - effacement progressif du visage, transfiguration par masquage et superposition, révélation partielle à la paraffine et tirage sur calque immatériel - évoque la figure du SUAIRE. Elle fait suite à une série de portraits peints de migrants dont la gravité du regard m’a incitée à une recherche plastique sur la vulnérabilité et la perte. N’apparaît plus que le regard interrogeant sur l’identité, invitant à se projeter… Toute forme du vivant m’intéresse; je peins et développe une forme particulière à chaque thématique, travaille par série. Born in 1960, graduated from ENSAAMA and ENSBA Paris. The APPARITIONS series—progressive erasure of the face, transfiguration through masking and superimposition, partial revelation with paraffin, and printing on immaterial tracing paper—evoks the figure of the SHROUD. It follows a serie of painted portraits of migrants whose serious gaze prompted me to explore vulnerability and loss. All that appears is the gaze, questioning identity, inviting us to project ourselves... All forms of life interest me; I paint and develop a specific form for each theme and work in series.
