Née en 1985, Tiffany Vailier a étudié les arts visuels et les techniques d’estampe à Strasbourg. En 2008, elle installe son atelier à Perpignan à l’issue d’une résidence, et y développe depuis son travail à l’échelle européenne. Artiste pluridisciplinaire, elle alterne dessin, peinture, gravure et scénographie, expériences de l’ordre de la chimie, études anthropologiques/naturalistes et créations fantasmées. Elle s’attache, en fait, à faire coïncider son sujet avec les moyens de sa représentation dans une démarche de recherche. Elle élabore des biomatériaux, en réaction aux bouleversements climatiques et sociétaux. Avec un élan vital manifeste, ses images bousculent nos sensations et nous invitent à l’introspection ; questionnent les notions de vulnérabilité et d'interconnexions.

Born in 1985, Tiffany Vailier studied visual arts and printmaking techniques in Strasbourg. In 2008, following a residency, she established her studio in Perpignan, where she has since developed her work on a European scale. A multidisciplinary artist, she alternates between drawing, painting, engraving, and scenography, experiments with chemistry, anthropological/naturalist studies, and fantastical creations. She strives to align her subject matter with the means of its representation in a research-based approach. Currently, she is developing biomaterials in response to climate and societal upheavals. With a palpable vitality, her images challenge our senses and invite introspection; they question notions of vulnerability and interconnectedness.
